2. Charging a battery (4:09): Praying in the spirit re-energizes you, similar to how jumper cables charge a dead car battery. It ignites the fire within you and allows you to continue even when feeling weak or worn out (5:31-6:34).
3. Connecting to a power source (Breaker Box) (7:34): This benefit is likened to a house's electrical breaker box, which distributes power to different circuits. The Holy Spirit is the main switch, and praying in the spirit ensures that the spiritual current flows through all aspects of your life, including your family, ministry, or business, when things are "out of order" (9:49-12:40).
4. Priming the pump (13:28): Just as an old water pump needs to be primed with water to flow again, praying in the spirit primes your inner well, allowing "rivers of living water" (the Holy Spirit) to flow from within you, as described in John 7:37-39 (15:56-19:13). This helps to get things started or growing in your prayer life and spiritual walk (14:34-14:39).
5. Edifying the speaker and revealing hidden truths (21:08): When praying in the spirit, especially in unknown tongues, you are speaking directly to God, and the Holy Spirit is praying through you (21:29-21:46). This edifies you and reveals mysteries—things difficult or impossible to understand with the natural mind (22:08-22:45). Romans 8:26 and 1 Corinthians 14:14 are cited to explain how the Spirit helps us pray when we don't know what to say, and how praying in tongues builds up one's spirit even if understanding is unfruitful (23:31-26:27).

Dr. Proctor also discusses additional benefits, such as spiritual warfare, where praying in the spirit acts as a spiritual weapon against the enemy (30:21). She shares personal testimonies of how praying in the spirit helped her launch "missiles" against the enemy (30:21-31:42), pray for global and national crises (31:57-34:30), push away negative things, and pull positive things into existence (34:47-35:12).
