Who danced each move in Paint the Town best?

Remember, this isn’t a competition or official ranking. I’m simply looking at the moves closely and pointing out what I thought looked extra nice throughout and why.

Because some people missed it (and I was curious) I counted the time I showed each member on screen. It doesn’t necessarily mean this is the rank even for the video though since not every move is equal in difficulty or length. Also note that, with so many girls, there are times many members can’t be seen. Here’s approximately how long I focused on each member:

Here are some things I noticed about the members in this video. Please note that literally everyone in LOONA does quite well and keeps up with the group as a whole.

Yves
Spectacular skill. This dance is very much in her style and she rocks it. She hits every pose just right and is very aware of her angles and clean limb placement. She’s extremely accurate on the really fast moves even compared to her other members too. I’d say she basically does this dance perfectly.

Kim Lip
Very cool and clean. Clearly she is a well practiced dancer. I’d probably recommend following her for this dance to learn it as she hits most everything correctly without adding too much that may confuse a learning dancer. She’s especially good with swift and clean arm moves and adds a nice elegant twist on many of them here.

Olivia Hye
This dance really suits her style. She makes everything look cool and is very capable with the little details. She’s also great with the dynamics and texture of the song. She could be a bit cleaner in places though.

Heejin
She was actually in the back for this dance more than I thought. I guess either that or she was singing and doing something different from everyone else. While she executed every move well, she surprisingly didn’t make as many choices that enhanced the moves like some of her other members. She’s very good with foot work and leg movements in particular here.

Choerry
Pretty solid throughout. Especially good at hitting clean moments even during fast sequences while still looking cool and performing well. Also very clean and rarely misses details.

Yeojin
Really amazing work with her head and chest movements specifically. The super fast movements sometimes trip her up but I honestly love her dancing style. She’s able to exaggerate her body in a way to enhance each move very well. She’s also quite clean throughout.When she gets it, she REALLY gets it.

Go Won
Although she makes a few mistakes, Go Won really knows how to add to the moves and keep up the energy and vibe of this dance. She’s really good with head and shoulder angles and quite clean with her transitions.

Jinsoul
Very cool and elegant, Jinsoul has a good sense for dance but is a bit indirect in her movements which causes some things to look a little awkward or get off time.

Hyunjin
Clean and simple Hyunjin does what’s needed and does it well. Nothing stands out as particularly good or bad in her performance but I’ve definitely seen her do better.

Chuu
Quite a capable dancer overall, Chuu doesn’t make many mistakes but also is a little less fluid than most in her execution of the moves. She also rarely enhances them with anything extra. However, she is quite accurate with her hand movements throughout.

Vivi
Although she has a good sense for dance and how to make things look nice (for example some added head movements to enhance her moves) she struggles with the tiny details of the dance and very frequently is off time. I noticed she tends to start moves early throughout this practice.

Haseul
Very nice dancing style. Great chest movements and body rolls specifically. She sometimes struggles with the faster moves though and with trying to have clean hand/arm moves. Despite having the lowest amount of focus time, I’d say she holds up very well throughout the performance and there were some moments she was a close second.
