It's A Scam.....era - Olympia NK5050

The Olympia NK5050 was one of many cheap film cameras produced before digital cameras swallowed much of the market. There were various models produced with different brand names, such as Olympia & Nikai and they tended to look very impressive to the casual observer. They gained the nickname of "Scameras" (and sometimes Trash Cams) because some people were misled into paying more for these cheap plastic cameras than they were actually worth.

I was given this Olympia NK5050 as a present and wanted to see if I could get any half decent shots using it, knowing all along that the lens wouldn't be sharp and exposure control was more or less non existent.

Film used: Ilford FP4 Type 517 Cine Film, developed in Rodinal
