Medieval Renaissance Birthday Party & Celebration. Our small farm was the perfect setting to host a medieval birthday party. I converted my garage into the castle throne room, the silo pavilion into the town's tavern and the old outhouse shed became the dungeon. I recycled antique pine siding to construct the troll bridge, stockage and target stand. I used plywood for the drawbridge and insulation sheets for the castle turrets. I found most of the accessories and props at thrift stores and yard/estate sales. I used construction paper and twine for the pendants and ribbon for the maypole.
