3rd gen TL manual swap information, what you need, what to do and what not to do regarding the swap. I hope I’ve cover most of the information about the swap and if you have any questions please do so, I’ll answer them if I can. I forgot to mention that 07/08 you can use the automatic dash harness and engine harness, just swap the harness that goes to the transmission for the manual. 07/08 you can use a automatic ECU but needs to be reflash and you have to wire up the clutch kill switch and the cruise control if you want them to work. 07/08 manual subframes have different part numbers but they’re identical. You can’t use a subframe from 04 to 06 on a 07/8. Same with 04 to 06, 04/05 ECU’s are pretty much the same from auto to manual on the plugs so you can use the auto dash harness, the 06 plugs and ECU are different.
