A wide choice of working sheep dogs from pups to year olds in different stages of training are sold. We watch the dogs going through their paces with their owners in the field and in the arena. The bidding on the dogs depending on how the dogs perform. Phil, the auctioneer is fascinating to listen to as he talks about each dog, having done his homework prior to the sale and then encourages bidders and interest during the bidding process. I have never been to a working sheep dog sale before. it was fascinating with some real bargains to be had too.
