The Library of Alexandria was founded during the reign of Ptolemy I Soter (or Ptolmey the saviour).
I've noticed of late a lot of content regarding the library of Alexandria deals with its burning (we are looking at you Julius Caesar)
However we wanted to ask what ruler made the library so grand, it gained a spectacular reputation?
Demetrius of Phalerum has something to do with that.
