Presoak the 100 g yarn in tap water + 1 T of white vingar
Spread out hte yarn on a basket over a collection container to catch the ice melt.
[0:57] Adding the ice on the yarn
[2:32] Sprinkling on some dye Jacquard Acid Dye Powder mixed with citric acid
Mixed a bunch of citric acid powder with a blob of Jacquard purple (super specific measurements, ha!)
With extra presoak water, rinse off the edges of the pan
[7:02] Check ins on the yarn and melting ice
[9:17] Taking a look at the yarn
[12:06] LNDB - Leave no dye behind with the melt colors on a second skein of yarn
[14:38] steam setting the color for 20 min on the stovetop
