This turn-of--the-century petticoat is inspired by Jean Hunnisett’s pattern in ‘Period Costume for Stage and Screen’. It could be cut out of a cotton sheeting or polyester taffeta with several variations of flounces or ruffles. In this tutorial I give instructions on how to draft any size petticoat based on your avatar’s measurements.
