What was supposed to be a smooth train connection from Karachi to Mirpurkhas turned into a wild travel adventure. I planned to take 47UP Rehman Baba Express from Karachi to Hyderabad Junction and connect with 155UP Saman Sarkar Express from Hyderabad Junction to Mirpurkhas Junction… but train delays had other plans.
Rehman Baba was late. Awam Express got me even later. I missed my connection. And that’s how I found myself in a hot, dusty van, rattling through Sindh’s backroads from Hyderabad to Mirpurkhas.
