Fire at Hilton hotel in Surfers Paradise prompts evacuation of guests

The blaze began on the Hilton's roof early on Friday, with falling embers starting another fire on the pool deck, the Queensland fire department says. Up to 186 rooms were evacuated in the middle of the night at the Surfers Paradise hotel, with dozens of emergency workers on site
