Discovering Kyoto: Kitanotenmangu and its Plum Gardens

In this episode, join us for a visit of the famous Kitanotenmangu shrine in the northern part of Kyoto.
It is mostly known for its large plum tree gardens which attracts visitors mainly during Spring and Autumn.
I hope you practiced how you should pay respects to the deity inside a shrine, but no worries because we'll rehearse once again together in this video.
I recommend you visit this place espacially in Spring, or late february to mid-March. That's when the plum trees should be in full bloom.
The gardens are also opened at night during that time of the year. Walking in those gardens at night surrounded by candlelight lit-up trees, isn't that romantic?!
