Valve has finally done it, SteamOS 3 has now been freed from the shackles of the Steam Deck. So methinks it's time to sit back, install this cheeky OS and give it a short test drive.

If you get audio crackling/stuttering/popping issues in SteamOS here's the fix:
Open up Konsole
Type passwd and set a password
type sudo steamos-readonly disable
type sudo nano /use/bin/steam
Underneath the line #!/bin/bash enter: export PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90
Press ctrl+x to save and close file.
