Driving Around The Vale Of Glamorgan - Real-Time Driving

I usually record real-time driving videos with commentary but I rarely upload them, usually editing them in to time lapses. I would like to do more real time driving videos, although I doubt they will be as popular as the time lapses.

I could edit them down. It takes a lot of time though and when I am not getting anything from youtube at the moment it seems a waste of time. Making time lapses is much quicker to edit.

What I think I will try and do with this one is upload a time lapse and a real time version and see how they perform. I have made playlists for real time driving and time lapses so they can go into their own categories.

I may upload some of my older real time driving videos.

I am still trying to perfect my workflow for making these videos. My set up is a NodeMCU running a ajax server with an attached GPS unit via a breadboard powered by a battery pack. I have an ariel attached to it which I place into my phone holder on my dashboard. The phone holder also holds my phone, which I use as an access point. I have my Surface 3 non-pro running OBS and powering a Logitech Streamcam mounted on my windscreen. The Surface gets the GPS data wirelessly via my phone.
