On this stormy day, we hiked in the wind and rain from Charlton Kings to Stroud, stopping several times along the way to warm up with hot tea and food, our favorite stop being the Cotswold Diner in Seven Springs. We also passed through Leckhampton Hill Nature Reserve and Crickley Hill (The Crickley Hill Cafe was a lovely stop, also). The low point of the day, which we didn't shoot, was trying to cross A417. It took us almost twenty minutes to cross, and it felt very dangerous. We arrived to The Painswick to a warm fire and warm welcome.
