2021 Shasta Dam GP - C Vet+ D36

We had an interesting start to the C race. After about an hour of delay standing around in the heat we finally got going for the Shasta GP. With a drought that meant dust, lots of it and this course was tight with technical sections so a lot of risk if you weren't in front. I struggled a lot between the dust, sand, hard pack and never got into a good flow with the course and crashed a bunch of times. By the end I started to figure out my where I was going wrong in my own riding and feel confident again but totally beat by the end. I took most of lap 1 easy after the third crash.
Thanks to the Redding Dirt Riders and D36 for making these events possible! The course was cool and kept your guessing.
