Project M / Project + is a mod of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, that aims to make it play more like Melee. Most of the WRs of this game was played on older versions, until now. Swanner hosted a 10$ bounty for the first person to improve a WR for the characters, and an additional 69$ for whoever held the most records at the end of the year. This video summarizes and compares the results with the old records to highlight the new strats and optimizations that went in to improving 30/42 of the WRs
An important thing to note is that the older versions have time shown in seconds and milliseconds, while the later versions show it in seconds and frames. Since milliseconds goes from 0-99 and frames from 0-59, this gives the illusion of the new times going slower than the old one, which makes it look like the old records are slower than what they really are, if you were to compare them based on the final times. However the correct difference in frames is given for all the records, and this one is accurate for all of them
