Complex Trauma in Women with Compulsive and Addictive Sexual Behaviour Often compulsive and addictive behaviour is thought of as a male problem, however, more and more women are coming forward struggling with the behaviour. Often this behaviour has its roots in severe trauma. In this presentation Dr. Carnes will discuss the many different ways this issue presents in clinical practice, and how clinicians can screen and assess this population. Diagnosis and treatment implications for trauma will be addressed.
