It's important that we all take care of each other. Check in with your fellow Soldiers and civilians alike and remind them that they are important and they have value. No one is immune to falling under hard times. Suicide is preventable, we are stronger together and need to ensure every Soldier feels valued, that they have authentic relationships with their families and friends, and that all of us as leaders embrace our duty to provide the necessary time and resources and foster cohesion in our organizations.
We would like to thank Lt. Col. Philip Jeon, 32d AAMDC Command Chaplain, for speaking to us about Suicide Prevention Month and for offering his words of wisdom on the subject.
