I bet you guys weren't expecting this one!

"DAR took a 5 second loop and turned it into a full song?! The absolute madman!"

When I had first heard the original upon reaching one of the text screens, I really liked the bassline that played. Soon enough, I began imagining how I would build upon it. Now, after saving this one to use as a "transition" of sorts into the final act of the TNT Marathon, I finally got to put it together!

Using what I learned from my cover of "Infinite" I ran my bass through my guitar amp stuff, to give it that nice crunch. I also tried something slightly different with the piano in this one. I decided to detune the piano very slightly, to make it fit in with the overall mood of the cover.

On a side note, songs that don't have much going on can sometimes be a whole lot of fun to work on! I really got to just do my own thing with this track because of that. I got to treat it as if I was working on RED PLANET II!
