During our Hua Hin trip, we decided to visit this 'floating' market was the last minute decision.
Upon arrival, to my surprise how empty this place was. I later read a bit more about this market to discover that this floating market was recently reopened in November 2024. According to wiki, Sam Phan Nam has been closed for several years. So this market is still recently new and still being developed.
We were there and there were other tourists visiting, but only a few beside our family.
There were souvenir shops, food stalls etc... We found a small shop specializing in post cards where you can send directly from the shop.
Overall, hopefully in a near future more tourists will visit this 'floating' market in Hua Hin.
