The Hyundai i20 N Rally2 made its debut in 2021 at the Ypres Rally, replacing the older i20 R5 model and winning in WRC2 immediately in Belgium with Jari Huttunen and Mikko Lukka. The i20 N managed to win the 2021 edition of the Rally di Monza with Andre Crugnola and Pietro Ometto, marking the first win of the car in the WRC3 class
The new Hyundai has also won two ERC rallies with Hayden Paddon and John Kennard in the 2023 Rally Serras de Fafe e Felgueiras and the 2024 Rali Ceredigion
