🇹🇷 European trolleybus manufacturers lobbied for the removal of trams in Türkiye and were successful. In 1961, trams were removed and replaced with 100 trolleybuses from Italy. Just as trams were discredited and removed, trolleybuses were also removed in 1984. Today, many developed countries of the world still use trams and trolleybuses. Türkiye, on the other hand, prefers to turn it into waste and send it to the scrapyard instead of using its already built, money-spent transportation systems. Güven Ünaldı #Tram #Trolleybus
