First hour of the flight was more instrument training, and since I had my brother and niece aboard, I decided to take them on a tour of San Francisco. The instrument training included steep turns and unusual attitudes, which was not so bad. I was able to recover from the unusual attitudes pretty easily, and the steep turns weren't too daunting. It should be noted that we couldn't find the foggles ahead of the flight, so we made due with some paper that actually worked decently. The tour of San Francisco was a lot of fun, weather cooperated pretty well. It was much better this time using the Golden Gate frequency of 123.4, I'll have to remember that next time. I was a little nervous about airspace over the city, particularly poking into OAK at 1500 ft over the skyscrapers, but it wasn't much of a factor. The turbulence caused by the skyscrapers was a bit of a factor, definitely a good learning experience.
