Complete Boat Tour-Gurkha HOUSEBOAT by Welcome Heritage group

So in this video I have tried to incorporate our experience of staying a night at this absolutely stunning houseboat by Welcome Heritage Group-Gurkhahouseboat !!
How was my stay?
Superb!! It was our very first experience, & I can’t vouch enough to my friends and family.

The room was so clean, bathroom was spic & span , had all basic amenities. No bad odour at all. Before I share anymore details, I must tell you that on our last visit to Kashmir, we went to check out Sukoon houseboat on Dal lake. The boat was beautiful, but had an unbearable stink within it and the lake stank bad, too.

Negin Lake is a much quieter lake, with not too many houseboats, perhaps a very important reason why it’s a lot more cleaner!!

The food tasted good, mostly like home cooked. Presentation was good, everything comes in casseroles, & is nice and hot.
They spoil their guests rotten by the huge variety they serve you.

The staff’s really polite and well behaved!

My favourite part was the open deck offering you panoramic views of the beautiful Negin lake , the mountains. Best time would surely be the #goldenhour !

However, I equally enjoyed my morning tea in the little balcony overlooking the gorgeous views. I sat there looking at people selling different articles in their #shikara on the lake to the customers aboard different houseboats.

The manager, Mr. Mudassir, was really good, & he made sure that my husband and I, were nicely looked after all throughout our stay.

Would I visit again?
Oh, absolutely 💯!! I was so sceptical in the beginning , but now id say, i will make sure i pend atleast a night on a #houseboat .

The only thing that was a little amiss, was the checkout timings . They are very particular about it and dont easily give you any extension.

Overall a wonderful stay, i highly recommend it!!
