The Flower District in Downtown Los Angeles looks like a paradise of color and life, endless rows of roses, sunflowers, carnations, and handmade arrangements that fill the streets with beauty. 🌹🌻
But behind the petals is a harder truth. Vendors talk about paying $4,000 a month in rent, struggling with sales that have dropped from thousands a day to just a few hundred.
Some tell me they fight to keep flowers fresh knowing unsold bundles go straight to the trash.
I walked through it all! The hustle, the creativity, the immigrant grind
and saw the resilience it takes to keep this place alive.
This is the Flower District as it really is: raw, unfiltered, and full of stories hidden beneath the petals.
