John 13:8-10 Yeshua washed His disciples feet at the Passover Preparation supper. This was foreshadowing that Yeshua was treating the disciples as Priests.
Peter at first refused. Later he understood because he wrote I Peter 2:9 where he explains: “You are a royal priesthood”.
In John 13:10, Yeshua says to his disciples, “You are clean, but not all of you.”
What did He mean by “Clean”?
They all had sinned, so what is the difference?
Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure (clean) in heart, for they shall see God.”
Here’s an example of Joseph when he was in Egypt and his brothers came to him to buy grain. He could have shown anger and he could have wanted revenge, but because he had a “Pure” heart, he could see God. That means he could see God’s plan. Even through what he suffered, he could see the Hand of God in what happened to him, and he didn’t blame his brothers
