This year, SCDOT will begin upgrading 12 intersections throughout the Wade Hampton Boulevard Corridor. A heavily travelled route, the Office of Traffic Safety identified it as one needing upgrades. The project will include several safety enhancements for both pedestrians and drivers. The project is expected to be completed next summer.
