In this video I will be describing the application of my new Automated Rose Ornamental Lathe to add some additional details and design elements to these wood pysanky style eggs.
In order to enable the addition of these design elements to these previously turned eggs, I need some way to hold them on the Rose Ornamental lathe. I will be cutting rosette patterns on the faces and sides of these eggs.
As a result, I have designed a series of replacement jaws for my Nova wood lathe chucks. I designed these jaws using the Fusion 360 software and I printed them out using my Bambu 3-D printer. I printed them out using PLA Plus filament material.
