VATUROVA Na Noqu Parataisi - Vunilagi Ni Matakavou ft Cagi Mudre Ni Delani Ravoravo

Na Noqu Parataisi-Vaturova," from the Vunilagi Ni Matakavou, released its very first song featuring Cagi Mudre Ni Delairavoravo.

This song highlights Vanua's beauty and distinctive qualities while embracing the essence of Vaturova's rich culture and customs. 

In order to help the Vanua of Vaturova obey legitimate directives, BALENAVICO is used in the introduction to describe and provide examples of valid principal calls and instructions. 

Vaturova is well known around Fiji and overseas for its artistic in Meke. The song was also composed to capture and appreciate that piece of history. 

The song also honours the value of protecting Vaturova's natural resources by mentioning the endangered bird, fish, and tree species that call its boundaries home. 

It puts the community under pressure to safeguard these priceless resources for future generations.

Then it describes the roles of the Seven Mataqali.

Some of the lyrics of the song "Isaa" have a deeper significance and are respectful salutations to the elders of each Mataqali clan for their generosity in providing their land for the development of the Tikina government stations and health centres, as well as Vunisalusalu Central School and Vaturova Koroalau High Schools, which are referred to as VKHS in the song.

In Fijian, "Muduoo" has a deeper connotation and expresses gratitude.

The words crafted were to ensure deep respect from the Vunilagi Ni Matakavou groups to the people of Vaturova for their kindness and generosity, and one prime example was when one Mataqali' with almost 15% swamp land was still able to offer their land to an entire tribe, Yavusa, to live in, and also in the past, to an Indo-Fijian family that resides in, and some of the family members had an I-Taukei Fijian name as well, alludifying the bondage and close relationship.

However, that does not end there, as Chinese families previously dwelled on Mataqali land as well. 

Meda Kilakila Na Keda Qele is another method used to help people identify and understand who they were and the part they played in their Vanua. It is critical in these modern days that our children are taught these basic things in life because they are passed down from generation to generation.

Rarama Levu Mai Yalataki Kina presented the story of her conversion from a nonbelieving period to Christianity. It relates to the promise made to a brave warrior, Rokododo, who, during the cannibalism era, discovered an old man sitting.

Ultimately, he tried eight times to weaken the old man he met. The old man's eyes followed him around eight times every time he moved, so he was unable to do so. Rokododo was then told to go back to the village and instruct them that there would come a time when the people of Vaturova would worship a single living god.

Well, today, the Vanua of Vaturova have magnificently witnessed the promises that were made.
