Welcome to Day 2 of our unique journey! Today, I visit my Muslim father-in-law's butcher shop for the first time. As a Hindu, stepping into this space and trying my hand at cutting chicken is a new and exciting experience. This visit reflects the diverse blend of cultures in our family, where we embrace and respect each other's traditions.
After the shop, Fiza and I set off to the sacred town of Maghar, where the great poet-saint Kabir Das spent his final days. What makes this place so special is the harmony of faiths, with a temple and a Mazar built side by side, symbolizing Kabir's teachings of unity, love, and acceptance beyond religious boundaries.
