Taking a short break from the 6150 I go look at some tractors at the auction, how much are Massey tractors REALLY making at auction in these days? Some would be better off in the scrap yard than the auction.!!! Also in this video I continue the restoration of my Massey Ferguson 6150, carrying out rust repairs, undercoating, scotching, and chassis protection before moving on to rebuilding and painting. Working through cold workshop conditions, I show how I protect vulnerable areas under the cab and mudguards to prevent future rust, along with welding repairs and preparation work that takes far longer than the painting itself. Midway through the job, I head to a local tractor auction in Ballymena to look at Massey Ferguson tractors, parts, and classic farm machinery, discussing condition, values, and whether some are worth restoring or best left for spares.
