Greetings, and good afternoon. Welcome to another author episode here on the show. Today, we are joined by returning guest and new alumnus Lauren Ennis. She leads a delightfully divided life, balancing the structured world of law by day with the boundless realm of storytelling by night.
During her daylight hours, she navigates legal briefs and courtroom protocols, while her evenings are dedicated to the characters, historical moments, and adventures that thrive in her imagination. Lauren has always been fascinated by the stories that have shaped our world—the forgotten moments, unsung heroes, and everyday people who experienced extraordinary times. She has published five plays, one of which was performed at NYU Shanghai, and five screenplays set around the world and spanning various decades. She is now making her indie author debut with her middle-reader novel, A Boy's Best Comrade.
