BenQ SW321C vs PD3220U | 32" 4K Pro Displays Compare

This video will run through the features of both BenQ latest Photography & Video display, the SW321C. And the top of the line BenQ Designer display, PD3220U. Both of these displays are 32" 4K UHD that can show accurate colors and comes with BenQ second generation hockey puck, however, many of the similarities end there.

SW321C is capable of hardware calibration with an updated 16 Bit 3D LUT chip build into the display. This display can show 99% Adobe RGB, 100% sRGB and 95% Display P3 & DCI-P3. And it also feature BenQ new technology called Uniformity Version 2, a feature that makes this panel extremely evenly illuminated and color accurate through out the entire panel and not just only in the center.
It adds support for HLG in addition to HDR10 that has come standard for the recent SW display. A shading Hood that comes standard for both the horizontal and vertical orientation to minimize stray light so that you can just focus on editing your images. The new matte / anti reflective coating that is currently BenQ exclusive! When you are editing images on this display, it looks like a matted print rather than a electronic led backlit screen. And the best feature of all a new color mode called Paper Color Sync, a hardware color mode that changes the display white point to D50 so that it can match better with inkjet paper and prints. This is going to a great tool that save so much time and reprints; saving money in the long run. Support for printers and paper is limited right now but I’m sure that it would expand in the future.

PD3220U BenQ flagship designer display. It has color modes that are different than the SW line, such as CAD/CAM mode for CAD work, low blue light mode for reading, and Animation mode that helps bring out shadow details to aid animator work. A sleek industrial design that fit well with any Apple Computer. A unique implementation of Gamut Duo that splits the screen in half so that you can view 2 different color mode at once. A companion software, Display Pilot, that integrate the display hardware into the computer software for seamless controls of color mode, display rotation and many more.
