Cave Planet Cavios:
Later re-localized "Cavius" and almost certainly one prong of the psychic attack responsible for my Mandela effect thinking that Meteo was a planet in this game. Because Meteos has a planet named Cavious, and while it couldn't have been something I was aware of at the time, Mekkai and Mekks are awfully similar-seeming. The lost third bad actor in my mental breakdown would be the Lylat System's asteroid belt, Meteo.
Anyway, none of that has anything to do with anything. THIS planet is more or less the antithesis of Skyhigh in that instead of a bunch of tiny rooms, this stage is host to an impressively sprawling single room... and then the room that comes after it. And a tiny little room besides that you need to find for the Stone ability. Oh, and I guess the room before you enter the cave proper counts for sometyhing, too.
But anyway, the large main room isn't just about size... I'm certain on a technical level there's more than a couple rooms in Great Cave Offensive that have it topped for sprawl. THIS room, however, is a wall-to-wall-to-wall...-to-wall maze of a brawl. Unlike the Mecheye elevator room flanked by bosses, these are all load-bearing to whatever extent you choose to wander through. Not every path is critical, and you have plenty of options. Too many, actually, as it's intentionally easy to get lost. The boss arenas themselves can often be a bit of a landmark... as well as whether or not a boss spawns in, seeing as how they only show up once after the room is loaded in.
Strictly speaking, your three points of interest are the exit... and the Deluxe Copy Essences for Bomb aned Hammer. But even someone who knows generally how the stage is laid out will get twisted around now and again by paths that seem to converge, but don't... and peeks at other areas that aren't even contiguous with where you're presently at.
It's also interesting that this stage is host to both Hammer AND Stone, meaning that any other stage featuring a stake in the ground will have parts of it inaccessible to anyone who didn't visit here first. There are certain things in Milky Way Wishes KINDA like that, but not explicitly often invoked, and definitely not as brick-walled as that example, but you may need to revisit some stages for reasons other than not exploring them thoroughly enough with what the stage provides within itself. (Wall-piercing, rope-cutting, stake-smashing, fuse-lighting. Those kinds of things.)
If it's your first time? Um... it's PROBABLY fine to do whatever you want.
BOSS: Wham Bam Rock
Naturally, all the rocky environs are a perfect fit for proto Master Hand carved out of potentially visually disconcerting stone carvings.
The ability to replenish your Hammer is definitely up there with massive Milky Way Wishes exploits, though.
