Using rubber bands (or bicycle inner tube in this case) is a tried and true means of getting good clamping pressure on uneven surfaces - like bows. The lamination process is less intimidating and definitely more predictable with this method of bow construction. This is a quick tutorial on how I make my clamping bands out of an inner tube - even works with the old one that leaks air on the kiddo’s bike.
