From the empty highways of Bangalore at 3 AM to the lush, rain‑soaked roads of the Western Ghats — this ride had it all!
Join me on my solo bike trip to Mallalli Waterfalls in Coorg, Karnataka during peak monsoon season.

The journey starts with a dark, misty ride on the Bangalore–Mangalore National Highway, moving onto narrow winding roads of State Highway 8. As I get closer to the Western Ghats, the scenery transforms — dense greenery, overflowing streams, foggy curves, and non‑stop rain.

After an epic ride, the adventure continues with a 600‑step trek down to the base of Mallalli Falls. The monsoon flow is at its absolute peak, turning the falls into a thundering wall of water surrounded by mist and emerald hills. The sound is deafening, the view is surreal — nature in its most raw and powerful form.

Whether you’re a rider, a trekker, or just a nature lover, this ride + hike is an unforgettable monsoon experience.
