Containers are linux! But linux skills don’t necessarily prepare you for working with containers. Containers are a great way to package up your workloads, but they require a change in how you think about developing your code and deploying your application. How do you build a container? How do you put your application into that container? And what do you have to think about when working with containers that you wouldn’t with a standard linux server? In today’s episode we’re going back to basics, and talking about containers! Whether its docker or podman, you’ll be able to take these principles and put them into action.
