Asterix & Obelix - The Adventure Begins - Guitar Cover

So here are characters that non Europeans probably won't even recognize! Asterix was a comic book series that got super popular in Europe starring 2 Gauls named Asterix & Obelix which are best friends! A quick summary for those that don't know them but it plays in the time of the Romans and Greeks and Julius Caesar has taken over multiple countries at this point. All but 1 village in France... This particular village houses the Gauls and they have a wise old druid that can make a magic potion that gives them super human strength for a while. This prevents Caesar from taking over the entire country and in the meantime, Asterix & Obelix go on all kinds of adventures depending on the situation that's happening. Asterix is very smart and clever while Obelix is the strongest because when he was a baby, he fell into a whole cauldron filled with magic potion so his super human strength never wears off! Obelix is a bit slow and dim witted however and doesn't think before he acts most of the time which usually leads to Asterix getting angry with him. So yeah, the dynamics between the two is amazing and I loved reading these as a kid and I own a lot of the comics! Like most of the time when something becomes popular, there's video games made out of it and what I'm playing here is from either the PC game (the one I grew up with) or the SNES one. It's called 'The Adventure Begins' and it plays in the first level! I love how uplifting and upbeat it is and it really sets the mood to go on a big journey! The game is brutally difficult but I love it. The graphics are very faithful to the comics and one of my favorite things about it is seeing the romans fly away in the background when you punch them, so funny!
