Train Cab Ride NL / First Time Enschede / Amersfoort - Deventer - Enschede / ICM IC / August 2023

Hi everyone! Welcome on board a brand new ride. And this time we have a first timer again! Never before a ride all the way to Enschede was published on my channel. Two weeks ago many of you requested this ride for this week. So here it is! Back in time a little bit. We're now running a train on the 21st of August 2023. Enjoy the ride!

0:00 Amersfoort Centraal
We start the ride in Amersfoort. Before the ride we test the connection of the transceiver with the train manager. After all is set it's time for departure. The speed sign for 60km/h is out of our sight. Therefor we start running our train on 40km/h until we've passed the next speed sign.

4:02 Amersfoort aansluiting
To the left the tracks towards Zwolle are splitting up.

6:17 Hoevelaken
7:05 Province Border

10:35 Barneveld aansluiting
Track towards Ede-Wageningen is splitting up on the right side.

13:43 Stroe
A track meant for freight trains to put aside so other faster trains can pass by.

19:03 Freight Locomotive
A lonely locomotive passing by.

23:28 Apeldoorn (ATB Track Failure)
Before we arrive at Apeldoorn (new infrastructure situation) we encounter a ATB track failure. This means the speed on the speedometer is not the correct speed (40 instead of 80km/h). For safety reasons we must drive on sight until we pass the next main light signal. From there we can continue our journey normally and of course we give message to the train dispatcher.

Still a speed limit in place here because of a rail crossing for farmers (heavy equipment).

Arriving at Deventer station. Always a wonderful sight! :D Just before Deventer the line coming from Zwolle is joining in on the left.

On the right side the line towards Zutphen is splitting up. Do you spot the hot air balloon as well?

58:32 Wierden
Just before Wierden we must slow down to 110km/h because of the curved track ahead. On the left side after the curve the line coming from Zwolle in joining in.

1:00:48 Spoorbrug Twentekanaal

1:01:13 Almelo
Arriving at Almelo. The last time on my channel we arrived here with the sprinter coming from Apeldoorn. Now we continue further to the east of the country. Just before arrival you can see the line coming from Marienberg (NL) joining in on the left.

1:12:49 Hengelo
Arriving at Hengelo. With on the right side the line coming from Zutphen joining in. On departure in Hengelo you can see the line towards Bad Bentheim (Germany) splitting up on the left side.

1:18:40 Extraordinary Speed Sign
Here's one you don't see very often. A speed sign allowing a maximum speed of 125km/h. Of course the ATB will show 130km/h here.

Arriving at the final destination for our train. Welcome in Enschede for the first time on my Youtube channel!
