Can you ski from Alta Badia to Cortina d'Ampezzo and back in one day?

This is one of the many questions we get:
"Can you ski from Alta Badia to Cortina d'Ampezzo and back in one day?"
Well, the answer is simply YES and with some special planning, you are also able to enjoy a great lunch in a characteristical mountain hut at the feet of the Tofana.

If in the last season this trip would need some more detailed planning because there was the need to take an extra skibus, now that's not needed anymore thanks to the brand new "Cortina Skyline" gondola that connects the Bai de Bones (aka 5 Torri area) to the Socrepes (above Pocol - Cortina) area.

I didn't want to cut it too much because the descents in Cortina are simply amazing and fun. Not to mention that the hard slopes there are mostly empty because Cortina tourists are usually leisure skiers that like more to stay at the huts or in the town center braving how good they are at skiing 😂😂
