On my first trip to Buenos Aires, I was fortunate to hear and video Maestro Plaza. I, my wife, QuinTango's founding director, Joan Singer, along with two QuinTango musicians Bruce Steeg and Libby Blatt, attended the monday evening concert at El Viejo Almacen (21 Aug 2000). After the concert, we met with Maestro Plaza. The next day, Plaza presented arrangements of "Danzarín" and "Nocturna" to Joan. Both piece were recorded by QuinTango on their third CD, "To Buenos Aires With Love - 2003." This clip is in memory of the Maestro.
