This is my go-to method for perfectly cooked broccoli — bright green, tender, and not mushy.
No fancy tools, just a pot, water, and a strainer.
🥦 Boiled (Steamed) Broccoli – Simple Method
Ingredients
• Fresh broccoli (as much as you’d like)
• Water
Equipment
• Large pot
• Strainer
Directions
1. Rinse broccoli thoroughly.
2. Cut into bite-sized florets.
3. Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil.
4. Add broccoli to boiling water.
5. Cook for 3–4 minutes until bright green and fork-tender.
6. Strain immediately.
7. Serve as-is or season with olive oil, sea salt, lemon, or your favorite sauce.

• Don’t overcook — bright green = perfectly done
