Description
This film analyses the reasons behind the power crisis in Tamilnadu, which started in 2008 and continues till date. Certain regions in the state suffered more than 18 hours of power cut.
Not only it investigates whether Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant is eligible for generation and be a solution for the power crisis but also it tries to find the answer whether Nuclear Power is safe for the humanity.

Plot Outline
Mudivin Aarambam starts with the losses incurred by the Tamilnadu Electricity Board and it travels to Kalpakkam and Idinthakarai village to explore the ground reality behind the Nuclear power and its fatal effects. It also provides the solutions to end this power crisis.
