RC Monster Truck – Complete Build & Electronics Installation Description
We designed and built a 3D wooden RC Monster Truck from scratch using laser-cut MDF parts. The project includes custom body modifications, motor installation, full wiring, a rechargeable power system, and a handmade wooden remote controller.
Below is the complete explanation of how the model was assembled and how the electronics were installed.

🛠️ Truck Body & Frame Construction
• The truck body and chassis are fully made from laser-cut wooden panels.
• We modified the main body frame to fit the motor and wiring channel inside the truck.
• The wheels are custom-cut wooden monster-style tyres for extra grip and design appeal.

⚙️ Motor Installation
• A DC motor is mounted at the rear section of the chassis.
• The motor provides forward and backward motion for the truck.
• The transmission shaft connects the motor to the wheels.

🔌 Complete Wiring Setup
Inside the truck:
• Red and black wires connect the motor to the control module.
• All joints are secured using hot glue for strength and insulation.
• A small circuit board handles the signal received from the remote.

🔋 Power System (Truck)
• The truck uses a rechargeable battery pack, fitted securely inside the frame.
• We added:
o Charging port on the backside for easy charging.
o ON/OFF switch to control truck power.
o LED indicator that shows when the truck is turned ON.

📡 Radio Communication
• The truck includes a radio frequency (RF) antenna to receive signals from the controller.
• The remote also has an antenna to send the commands.

🎮 Wooden Remote Controller
We also designed a fully functional wooden RC remote:
Remote Features:
• Forward and backward wooden push buttons.
• ON/OFF switch for remote power.
• Rechargeable battery inside the remote.
• Charging port for the remote.
• LED indicator that lights up when the remote is powered.
• Internal wiring connected to an RF transmitter module.
Electronics Inside Remote:
• A small circuit board controls signal transmission.
• All wiring is organised and glued to keep components secure.
