Albanski konjak 7a, Mišja Peč - Osp

Special thanks to Tina Bercic who gave us an opportunity to record her climbing around Mišja Peč.

In this video, we’re showcasing the beta for the Albanski konjak 6c+/7a route. This is a very popular warm up, which continues with the extension to the top of the wall, graded 8a. The route is quite tricky and requires some good technique. First part of the route is very technical, with somewhat polished footholds. It requires very detailed placing of the feet and reaching for underclings on the right, followed by wider pinch tufa with the left and reaching with the right on the jug. You can also get a no hand rest before the big tufa by traversing a little to the right and sitting on the ledge (between Albanski konjak and Kranjska sivka). Next section also requires some precise moves, putting the left foot up and traversing with both hands over the tufa. From the last quickdraw to the anchor it is a bit of a runout, but once you know the section, it is not hard. On the video there are some intermediate crimps after the left tufa, but if you are tall, you can also reach with the right hand directly over the big hole. The anchor can also be clipped from the kneebar.
