Project Kuiper is a mega constellation of satellites in Low Earth Orbit that will offer broadband internet access managed by Kuiper Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Amazon. This constellation is planned to be composed of 3,236 satellites. The satellites are projected to be placed in 98 orbital planes in three orbital layers, one at 590 km, 610 km, and 630 km altitude.
Window opens: April 28th at 7:00PM EDT (23:00 UTC)
Window closes: April 28th at 10:00PM EDT (02:00 UTC on the 29th)
Mission: Atlas V launch of 27 Kuiper satellites for Amazon
Launch location: Space Launch Complex 41, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Earth.
Target orbit: Low-Earth Orbit (LEO); ~450km circular orbit at 51.86º inclination
Booster: AV-107
Configuration: 551 - 5 meter medium length version payload fairing, 5 GEM 63 solid rocket motors, 1 RL10A-4-2 engine on Centaur. "Bruiser"
