SPEAKER CROSSOVERS: is inner placement distorting the sound?

In this episode I demonstrate how crossover placement may lead to strong distortion in the sound reproduction of specific frequencies (microphonics), getting me to think if we should always put our crossovers outside of the speaker cabinet, regardless the design?
