Live stream from Litlahraun cabin in Aðaldalshraun between Húsavík and Akureyri in north Iceland.
The cabin is situated in a beautiful unspoilt ancient lava field, close to the Laxá River. A harsh and unforgiving landscape, home to Arctic Foxes, Ptarmigan and of course the Huldufólk.
Live cameras and two all-sky timelapse camera's capture the sky. Aurora Borealis or the Northern Lights as it's often called can be seen when the sky is dark. Along with star trails and all-day timelapses.
The location, although remote offers spectacular views in all directions.
As the summer dwindles and Autumn approaches, the nights are slowly returning. Soon the Aurora season will begin again
A weather station gives accurate weather information, and the live camera offers realtime views of the landscape.
