In this episode we cross the border from the NT into Outback Queensland. First stop is at an amazing freecamp at Camooweal on a billabong. The birdlife is incredible with an abundance of pelicans. We move on from here and make our way through Mt Isa and camp at another free camp at Corella Dam. A beautiful setting overlooking the lake that has crocs and more amazing birdlife. Whilst capturing some amazing footage of the lake, the drone decides its time for a dip (ok......Tony misjudged the distance to the water)!!! Not far up the road is the old abandoned town of Mary Kathleen with the original closed down open cut uranium mine not far out the back of the town. A bit eerie but well worth the short 4wd track out there.
